What is Pruning?
Pruning in the online world refers to a method where you kick inactive users who haven’t even logged in to your server in a set amount of time. Instead of kicking each member individually, you can mass kick every user that hasn’t been online in a certain amount of time.
How to use it?
You can only Prune those members who don’t have roles assigned to them. These are the step you have to follow in order to Prune someone.
- Select the Server Settings option for the specific server you want to prune.
- In the Members tab, you are going to find the whole list of members which are present in your server- and their roles. You are going to find the Prune option as well.
- Select how the threshold for last activity you want to prune members for. You can currently choose between 1 day, 7 days, and 30 days.
You should be careful while Pruning. Because sometimes accidentally people kick their friends who are even active.
