They’re awesome to me, and that’s probably because I’ve been playing them my whole life.
The fact that you can become anyone you want, explore anywhere and experience anything with video games is amazing. Even then, that’s oversimplifying what they are and what they can do.
And I believe it’s even cooler if you can create that experience yourself and share that with others, like with level editors or game development kits.
Oh, and they also make me forget about the stresses of real life. That’s always good.
